                                     GR Maatin

GR Maatin is a tall, elegant 2008 black SE stallion.  He was imported into the United States in late April 2009.  His pedigree reads like the who’s who of European SE halter winners.  His sire Maheeb is by Classic Shadwan, by Alidaar and a French mare Shagiah. Maheeb’s dam is by Ansata Halim Shah and out of a daughter of Ibn Galal, bred by Dr. Nagel.  His dam GR Marietta is an European Egyptian Event champion.  Her sire Madallan-Madheen was a gold premium stallion, bred by Dr. Nagel, sired by Ansata El Salaam and out of the Ibn Galal mare Madinah.  Her dam was sired by the black Haziz Halim son of *Ansata Ibn Halima out of Serenity Shahrabi, out of a daughter of The Minstril and a German bred mare, Muneera.

             Maatin is now standing at Jamieson Equicenter.  He will be campaigned by Mark beginning in November 2010, initially in halter and later in halter and under saddle.  He is available at public stud.  We are extremely proud of this beautiful boy with his stunning movement and wonderful intelligent and kind disposition.
